Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea 2012

On Friday, May 25 we hosted our 8th WiSE Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and raised a healthy $3000 for Cancer Council research, education and support services. This was our second year at the beautiful Hawthorn Mosman. Our topic this year was ‘Tea, Health & Wellbeing’. Our guest speaker, nutritionist Catherine Saxelby from Foodwatch designed and delivered a presentation which included the history of tea, types and health benefits of tea. Read on to view ‘take-aways’, comments  and testimonials  from the event.

There were some great prizes donated for our raffle, prize draw and live auction. We’d like to thank the following people and enterprises for their contribution to our fundraiser.

Our luxury auction item donated by endota spa was an Endotarama Spa Treatment. The highest bidder will be able to indulge in a billabong footbath, facial, and half hour massage at any of endota’s Sydney locations – Crows Nest, Paddington, Turramurra, Martin Place, and Rozelle. Thanks to Suzanne Murphy from Baby Butler for organising this.
